Cosmos celebrate 20th anniversary

This year (2021) marks an important milestone for the Cosmique Movie Awards: it’s our 20th anniversary!

We’ve been working for months on a special anniversary announcement and…it’s finally ready.

With the first Cosmos in 2001, we decided to make every award a Lifetime Achievement awards. For our 20th anniversary, we decided to do the same and create special one-off awards honoring our favorites of all time.

We have “buzzworthy” suggestions that make voting easy. Just click on your favorites to nominate, or write in others if you’d like to nominate something not on our buzzworthy list. Ballots are finally ready and you can vote now. The deadline is Friday, February 11, 2022.

Rules for Voting

  1. For each award, you may nominated up to 10 different nominees. Duplicated nominations for the same award will only be counted once.
  2. Nomination ballots must be completed by midnight on Friday, February 11, 2022.
  3. You do not have to complete all 10 nominations for a category if there are only a few nominees you care about.
  4. You may skip award categories you don’t care about and just focus on the ones you do.
  5. We have provided “Buzzworthy” suggestions for each award based on a variety of sources (such as the American Film Institute’s Lists, winners of similar awards at the Oscars, IMDb rankings, or other “Best ____” articles). You may click on these Buzzworthy suggestions to nominate that suggestion, but you may also write in one or more nominees in the space provided.
  6. For each award, you get up to three Power Votes. A Power Vote can give extra weight to a nomination, the equivalent of nominating it twice.
  7. You can only cast your Power Votes for one or more of your nominees for the same award. The Power Vote cannot be use to nominate an eleventh, twelfth, or thirteenth nominee.
  8. You may divvy up your three Power Votes however you choose: one each for three different nominees, all three for one nominee, or two for one nominee and the third for another.
  9. Be sure to provide your name and email address in the place provided in case we need to contact you about a problem with your ballot.
