Nominations open for 2024 Cosmos

The Oscars are upon us, and that means it’s time to cast your nominations for the 2024 Cosmique Movie Awards, honoring the best and fan-favorite films and performances of 2024 as well as for all time.

This is your opportunity to react with or against the Oscars and other major movie awards. Hate that your favorites didn’t win…or maybe didn’t even get nominated? Promote them for a Cosmo instead. Any film with a theatrical release in 2024 may be considered. For the Lifetime Achievements, any film released prior to 2024 may be considered, as can any actor and actress of any era, living or dead.

Rules

• Nomination ballots must be cast by midnight on Monday, March 31, 2025. If you cast your ballot early and want to change any of your votes, email us or reach us through Facebook before the deadline and we will adjust your vote accordingly.
• The Lifetime Achievement awards are for any film too old to be eligible for the current or future annual awards, and for any actor or actress of any era, living or dead.
• The annual awards are for films generally released in 2024. Films that were only shown in film festivals in 2023 can be considered as a 2024 film.
• For each category, you may nominate up to six different films or performances. Duplicative nominations in a single category will only be counted once.
• For each category, you may choose to cast an optional Power Vote for one of your nominees to give it extra weight. It cannot be used for a seventh nomination.
• Although the ballots are prepopulated with potential nominees (culled from other awards as well as critics’ “best of” lists), you should feel free to write in any eligible nominees that aren’t displayed.
