Winners of the 20th Anniversary Cosmo Awards

The winners of the Cosmique Movie Awards’ 20th Anniversary Lifetime Achievements have been announced, and three films walked away with three awards each: The Princess Bride (1987); The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001); and The Poseidon Adventure (1972).

Films winning two awards include: Aliens (1986); Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969); The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994); Brokeback Mountain (2005); The Lion in Winter (1968); and Milk (2008).

A total of 1,277 films were nominated in 130 different award categories, with 108 winning at least one award.

George Cukor was named to the Best Directors of All Time Hall of Fame, joining Alfred Hitchcock who was inducted in 2002. A total of 213 individuals received directing or acting nominations, with 16 of them winning. None won more than once, though several received multiple nominations.
